NEY WAY?! Real Madrid reps hold talks in Paris over stunning £250m Neymar transfer… with Gareth Bale used as a bargaining chip

The Brazilian's representatives are also present as another mega move for the superstar edges closer, according to Brazilian reports.

Neymar has wanted out of Paris Saint Germain all summer and a return to Barcelona was his first choice.

But the relationship between PSG's hierarchy and Barcelona's is not good after the Catalans accused the French club of 'devaluing their players', according to Lance.

ON THE NEY TO MADRID
PSG wanted Barcelona players plush cash in return for Neymar but were unwilling to accept the Spanish giant's valuations of their stars.

And after Barca's vice-president confirmed a Neymar swoop was off, Real stepped up their interest.

Los Blancos reportedly offered £110m plus ex-Spurs man Luka Modric earlier in the window but are now said to be offering Bale as a makeweight instead.

While Luiz's on-pitch antics are well known, the ex-defender sees him as a potential liability in the dressing room.

Keown told TalkSPORT on Friday: “I was concerned and I made my feelings known at the time.
The Gunners were in desperate need of a new centre-back this summer and brought in Luiz on deadline day.

And Keown acknowledged how he could fit into Unai Emery's system despite his shortcomings.

The 53-year-old continued: “I do feel Arsenal play it out from the back and that will suit David Luiz, that will be a good plus, but he’s not a top defender.

“He’s not an out-and-out defender, work is going to have to be done with him.

“And what sort of person is he? Is he a leader and is he the right influence in the dressing room?

“He’s good value with the money they paid for him and Arsenal were in a position where they had to get defenders in, but it’s a gamble.”
“I felt that we’d be taking a problem from Chelsea.

“Frank Lampard was in that dressing room wasn’t he, and you could say it was a little bit toxic.

"Sarri last year said they were difficult to motivate, and it looks like Lampard has weeded out David Luiz.

“Arsenal are then taking a player with a little bit of baggage."
